I asked them a lot of questions about the aims and values of their charity before I applied and I also told them about my expectations and worries. It was crucially important for me that my work in Ecuador will not be just for exciting three months, but more that I can fill a job which has long-term effects. And that is exactly what CWW is about. Volunteers with CWW get a real placement with a lot of responsibility and space to fill with their own ideas and creativity. They have to be flexible, open-minded and responsive.
